After spending years as an account executive in a suburban office, Penny decided to follow in her father's footsteps as a carpenter.
“It doesn’t feel like a job or work. I’m enjoying earning a living. It’s the best move I’ve ever made.
There’s also the benefits…knowing that I have a pension has given me a comfortable feeling knowing that I am financially secure. My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner.
In our disposable world, lots of things don’t last. But in our industry, you’re the one putting in your knowledge, pride, heart and soul. What we produce is made to last. You can sit back and be proud of it.”
